libappstream-glib-dev software package provides GNOME library to access AppStream services (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libappstream-glib-dev
libappstream-glib-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libappstream-glib-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libappstream-glib-dev *
You will get with libappstream-glib-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
